Letter From the Editor

There is something about summer that invites us to become a little more ourselves.

The sunlight lingers longer. We spend more time outdoors. We laugh louder. We chase adventures we would have talked ourselves out of in the colder months. Somewhere between sunrise coffee and late-evening golden light, we begin remembering the woman we've always been underneath the expectations, the responsibilities, and the endless to-do lists.

That woman deserves to be seen.

When I created Boudoir by Erin, it was never simply about beautiful photographs. It was about creating a space where women could pause long enough to recognize themselves again. Not the version reflected in comparison or criticism, but the one who is strong, feminine, resilient, playful, and breathtaking exactly as she is.

This first edition of The Boudoir Journal is an extension of that mission.

Inside these pages you'll find inspiration, stories, style, behind-the-scenes moments, confidence rituals, and a glimpse into the experience that so many women tell me changed the way they see themselves. My hope is that you don't rush through it. Pour a cup of coffee. Sit outside in the morning sun. Flip each page slowly. Let yourself imagine what it might feel like to celebrate your own story.

This summer, I hope you wear the swimsuit.

Read the extra chapter.

Book the trip.

Say yes to the photograph.

Take up a little more space.

And if somewhere along the way you decide that it's finally your turn to step in front of my camera, know that I'll be here—ready to celebrate every version of you.

Welcome to the very first edition of The Boudoir Journal.

I'm so glad you're here.
