Ms B’s Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
I am a mother of two. I am 50 years old. I can say I have lost myself over the last few years. I don't have great confidence about how I look. I am the one always behind the camera and don't have many pictures of me compared to my family. I did a Boudoir Halloween shoot in 2021. My husband loved the pictures. I was shy and Erin worked with me. I booked a Christmas shoot 2021 for my husband. He couldn't wait to see the images. Then Erin had a contest and I won. I was nervous and anxious for this shoot but Erin makes you feel comfortable. I at least knew what to expect. Jaimee is patient and does an amazing job with hair and makeup. When the images are done it makes it hard to pick a few. They all are good. Erin captures your beauty.
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
Through a mutual friend on Facebook last year at Halloween
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
I needed to feel sexy and beautiful. I have lost myself over the years and self esteem has never been my strong point at least with my appearance.
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
I actually do photography. I think Boudoir can be very sexy and beautiful and tasteful. It definitely can make people feel better about themselves.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Yes I feared what I would look like. Again it is body and self esteem issues. I am a mother of two children and am not as skinny as I used to be.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Nervous, anxious. Honestly if I had not already paid for the first session I probably would have backed out. Then I wanted to do a Christmas shoot for my husband. Then I just entered a contest and won this one. I have already booked another Christmas one.
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
Erin and her team made me feel very welcome. They had my name up on the sign on the porch like I was a Hollywood star or something. They helped me go through my outfits. They never had one bad thing to say.
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
Jaimee did amazing. I don't wear makeup or much when I do. This was my 3rd session and she even remembered my eyes water when she puts makeup on my eyes.
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
Just wondered how the pictures would turn out.
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
Very happy. I wished I had been in a financial place to buy them all. Erin does an amazing job
What products did you purchase?
This time no extra. Both sessions before like 20 images.
Did anything surprise you?
No
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
To do it. It makes you feel confident especially after you see the pictures.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
I felt sexier. I felt good about my other pictures but I have also been working on myself.
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
She makes you feel at ease. She shows you the pictures even as she is taking them.
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
That women often feel they are not beautiful and much of their perception is based on media. I would suggest doing this for yourself. Your pictures will be awesome and you will feel empowered
